Pastors Peter & Phoebe Sozi

Peter and Phoebe Sozi are the founders of Divine Care Ministries. The compassion and love of God is portrayed every day through the care and sacrifice of the Sozis. Not only do they provide a place for young orphans to be nurtured and grow, but thousands of men and women are being trained under their guidance to become fruitful, effective church planters.

Joanna Vazquez | u.s. Coordinator

Joanna began working with us in 2020 as our liaison here in the States. Some of her responsibilities include: helping with communications regarding the ministry, coordinating our fundraising efforts, organizing trips to and from Uganda, overseeing our sponsorship activities, and all things DCM related in the U.S. Joanna holds a B.S. in Global Studies & Spanish from Middle Tennessee State University. She has attended various discipleship & missions training programs over the years and her relationship with Jesus and spreading His fame is what she’s most passionate about. She’s an adventurer at heart and when she’s not working, you can find her going on hikes with her husband, laughing with friends, and probably sipping on a good cup of coffee.
